AKGUN PACS (Picture Archiving And Communication System) 3D generates and renders 3D volumes of the region of interest using 2D medicalimage slices, applying 3D rendering techniques.
Volume manipulation can be achieved in AKGUN PACS 3D. Region of interest is possible tobe narrowed down with the help of cut and crop operations. These operations provide usersto eliminate the uninterested organs and tissues, and aim to increase quality and accuracyin diagnosis assessments. It is possible to make measurements including length, angle anddensity on these 3D volumes and to record measurements and modifications in PACS serverand print on film.
Any interested organ or tissue can be made look more distinct by applying color presets tothese 3D volumes. The system enables users to records additional color presets to be appliedon different examinations according to end-user needs. Any interested organ can be examinedwith the movement of the mouse on the sagittal, coronal and axial plane thus and the relationof pathologies with other organs can be measured volumetrically.
VRT (Volume Rendering Technique), MPR (Multi-Planar Reconstruction), Curved MPR, MIP(Maximum Intensity Projection) and MINIP (Minimum Intensity Projection), SSD (Shaded Surface Display) techniques can be easily applied to images.
Density, opacity and colors suitable for the organ can be automatically and easily configured.
- Fully integrated with the Radiology Information System.
- Vascular structures can be viewed.
- Angiographic images can be obtained.
- Soft tissues or bone structures can be suppressed or highlighted.
- With AKGUN PACS 3D, it is possible to reach all width, length and depth measurements at the same time for applications which require a realistic 3 dimensional perception.
