AKGUN VezneSIZ is an application which helps to reduce the patient traffic during admission processes. For this purpose, it allows patients to make the admission by themselves and bu only using the serial numbers with their cards or barcodes. The system can operated by either a card or a barcode system (a special card or a barcode attached to the patient ID card can be used to register the patient to the system). A card/barcode reader can be mounted on the door of polyclinic. After the patient barcode on the identity/patient card is read, the patient automatically registered to the clinic by checking provision and any other admission criteria.

- It is so simple that even untrained people can easily use. Medical examination and laboratory test result evaluation queues are displayed with different symbols.
- No additional ID card, magnetic card, chip cost. Barcodes or cards created in the VezneSizsystem can be used by any hospitals and community clinics adapted to this system.
- VezneSiz system can be also used for registrations of patients who took appointments with SMS, Phone etc. So, work load of admission staff can be reduced dramatically.
- The sistem also serves patient privacy issues, by managing test results queue. The patient and the physician can easily follow the patients who wants their test results be evaluated. So, patients or their relatives, who wait for the test results to be evaluated, are not required to enter in the room during the patient examination.
- The system can also provide an integration interface to the devices such as digital weight-height meter, blood pressure meter or infrared thermometer. The patient can be introduced to the system by the barcode/card connected to the device. Patients’ height, weight, body surface, body mass index, blood pressure and body temperature values can be easily measured without the need for any other personnel. The measurements are recorded to the patient health record. The physician is able to compare the current measurements to the past. System can give warnings by creating critical thresholds according to % modification/time criteria.
