Pursuant to the provisions of Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“PDPL”), your personal data and special personal data specified below within our Company organization will be processed by AKGUN A.Ş. as the “Data Controller”. “Processing of your personal data” refers to any operation performed on the data, such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, changing, rearranging, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying or preventing the use of these data.
AKGUN A.Ş. is a "data controller" as defined in the Law. In this context, in accordance with the Laws and Regulations prepared by our Company to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the right to privacy, and to protect personal data, our Company takes all technical and administrative measures to ensure the appropriate level of security in order to prevent the unlawful processing of your personal data, to prevent unlawful access to it and to ensure its preservation.
We process your personal data in the categories of identity, communication, personnel, professional experience, visual and audio records and other personal data. We do not request special personal data such as association, foundation or union membership, health information. If you share this information with us, you will need to give your explicit consent in the contact form section on our website.
Purposes and legal reasons for processing personal data;
If you submit your personal data, it will be processed for the purposes set out below and in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in the Law;
- Carrying out the necessary processes within the scope of receiving your job application, evaluating and finalizing your request and suitability for the relevant position,
- Carrying out recruitment processes within the framework of human resources policies,
- Providing information to authorized institutions based on legislation,
- Responding to relevant person applications in accordance with the legislation and carrying out the necessary procedures,
Your personal data collected in line with the fulfillment of the above-mentioned purposes may be transferred to the relevant company you applied to, career portals, employment agencies, suppliers, social media service providers, and to legally authorized public institutions and legally authorized private persons within the scope of the execution of your job application process and as expressly provided for in the laws and to fulfill our legal obligations.
Your personal data is collected electronically in order to fulfill the purposes stated above, through internal company systems, e-mail, telephone, career portals used by our Company, systems where exams and personality inventory studies are conducted, or through interviews to be conducted in a physical environment.
LinkedIn, based in the USA, of which you are a member. By contacting us through these accounts, you are deemed to have given your explicit consent for your data to be processed by foreign service providers.
The personal data you share with us is stored by us for 1 year and then destroyed.
Your personal data is collected and processed by our Company for the following purposes and legal reasons, based on the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.
Your Rights as a Data Owner;
As personal data owners, as listed in Article 11 of the Law;
- Learning whether personal data is being processed,
- To request information regarding the processing of personal data,
- To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, either domestically or abroad,
- To request correction of personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly and to request notification of the action taken to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data in case the reasons requiring processing are eliminated, even though it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law and other relevant laws, and to request that the action taken within this scope be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
- To object to a result that is to the detriment of the person himself/herself, as a result of the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automatic systems,
- In case of damage caused by the processing of personal data in violation of the Law, you have the right to demand compensation for the damage.
To exercise your rights specified above, you can apply to AKGUN A.Ş. in writing and send the application to the address information specified in the Data Owner Application Form. If new application methods are determined by the Personal Data Protection Board, these methods will be announced by AKGUN A.Ş.
Your applications within this scope will be finalized in the shortest possible time frame and within 30 days at the latest from the date they reach us. These applications are currently free of charge. However, if the Personal Data Protection Board determines a fee schedule, a fee may be charged in accordance with this schedule.
