AKGUN was awarded Healthcare Sector Software Category Winner among Turkey’s largest information technology companies
“Top 500 IT Companies of Turkey’s Information Technology sector 2019 research” results have been announced, where companies that made important contributions to the development in all areas of Turkey and the business world, and that develop information technologies and provide solutions were awarded. AKGÜN was awarded the “The Winner of the Health Sector Software Category” in the research, which emerged as a result of the joint efforts of BT Haber Magazine, M2S and Informatics Summit.
AKGÜN Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Temel AKGÜN emphasized the importance of digitalization in his speech at the award ceremony. Mr. Akgün said, “Health is the most important thing in the whole world and as a country, we proudly passed this challenging test during the Covid-19 pandemic, where all infrastructure and digitalization were reviewed. We are very happy to be awarded in the Health Informatics category.” Mr. Akgün thanked the company employees, BT Haber Group and all our stakeholders and congratulated all the companies that received awards.
While our success was crowned with the award we received, it has been proven once again that we move forward with stronger, safer and more dynamic steps towards the future.
The atmosphere of the virtual ceremony was extremely realistic with its digital stands and panels. Inspired by Göbeklitepe, which is regarded as the place where the first steps towards civilization were taken, the event with the theme “It Will Be Born Again from Anatolia” brought together entrepreneurs and investors, and became an important platform for the development of relations.
