4th Private Sector R&D Centers Summit was held on Wednesday on 14 October 2015 at Ankara Sheraton Hotel & Convention Center.
At the fair organized on 14 October 2015 in Ankara with the attendance of Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Mr. Fikri Işık, the companies attending to the event shared the prototypes of their significant work in R&D with the public. AKGUN Software was one of the popular figures of the fair attracting attention with its innovative works.
At the event, where 70 firms with R&D Center, among the innovations displayed by AKGUN Software; Computer Assisted Diagnosis inn Lung X-ray Images, which is defined as “Early Diagnosis Miracle”, and DICOM Compatible Breast Cancer Decision Support System Project.
Leading the sector, AKGUN aimed to prevent cancer being overlooked and prolong the lifetime by means of early diagnosis of cancer with the Computer Assisted Diagnosis inn Lung X-ray Images and DICOM Compatible Breast Cancer Decision Support System Projects implemented as a result of long research and development activities leading a new way in Turkey.
