IBM POINTED TO AKGUN AS THE MOBILE LEADER IN 2016 AND AFTERWARDS…

AKGUN Software was rewarded with its “AKGUN Mobile Clinical Assistant” project developed in the field of “IBM 2015 Outstanding ISV Solutions” at the IBM Solution Partners Meeting 2016 realized on 17 March 2016, which is held by IBM annually and with the attendance of many solution partners.

AKGUN Mobile Clinical Assistant product was accepted internationally in the field of mobile technology and was entitled to become the new technology product of both in the world and in Turkey in the technological tools category as the world technology product.

Our Sales and Marketing Coordinator Gökmen Kuvvet and Quality and Method Development Coordinator Züleyha Akgün attended to the ceremony on behalf of our company.

While awarding the achievements of 2015 at the event held at the Seed Venue of Sabancı Museum, opinions on the forthcoming periods were shared. The new business strategies and opportunities to be created both for IBM Turkey and the IBM Solution Partners starting from 2016 and the cognitive period that started with Watson to convert the business world, were reviewed.

Opening; started with the speech of IBM Country General Manager Isabel Cagigas Gomez on the Future and Importance of Cognitive Information Technology and continued with the moderatorship of the Global Business Partners Country Leader Oral Turgay Tuntaş.

The meeting, where new ideas for the new period were shared and successful projects of 2015 were awarded, ended with a pleasant cocktail that brought everyone together.

AKGUN Mobile Clinical Assistant Application is a system that enables access to tools and equipment for physician and nurse via mobile devices regarding the bed-side treatment implementations and health processes. The application provides a mobile experience that takes space independent, ergonomic structure, use, information safety factors into account for the health and treatment team with the screens optimized for not only tablet but also for all sizes of telephones. AKGUN Mobile Clinical Assistant Application was prepared as suitable for a number of different platforms such as IOS, Android and Windows Phone. By combining the tools provided by the application and platform, a complete Corporate Mobile Application specific to healthcare facilities was developed.

AKGUN Mobile Clinical Assistant Application addresses a wide range of masses including secondary and tertiary healthcare facilities and Public Hospitals Unions. One of the most important features of the developed project is that AKGUN Mobile Clinical Assistant is independent from Hospital Information Management System (HBYS) and has the capacity to be integrated with every HBYS.
