We participated as sponsors of the 12th International Congress of Health and Hospital Management (12th HSYK) and the 3rd International Congress of Occupational Health and Safety in Healthcare Institutions (3rd OHS) held in Antalya between November 17-20, 2021.
At the 12th HSYK congress, the main theme of which is “Finance and emergency management in health institutions and alternative solution proposals in the new normal”, the financing of health services, which is changing with the new normal, was discussed.
The main theme of the 3rd OHS Congress, which was held simultaneously with the 12th HSYK Congress, is “Occupational Diseases, Occupational Accidents, Risk Management and Precautions in Healthcare Professionals”. In the 3rd OHS congress, the causes of occupational diseases and accidents in health workers and the methods and innovations to ensure occupational health and safety in health institutions were discussed.
A large number of participants from Turkey and different countries attended to both congresses organized in hybrid form. Many joint panels and discussions were held at the events.
In this context, on November 18, 2021, AKGUN International Sales Manager Mr. Onur SOYBAŞ took place as a speaker at the conference titled "The Path Taken in Health Services in the World, Crisis and Risk Management, Importance of Decision-Based Data". At the panel, Mr. Onur SOYBAŞ mentioned that “We provide effective and quality preventive health services to healthcare professionals and patients with our artificial intelligence-based decision support systems developed by AKGUN”. Also, Mr. Onur SOYBAŞ said, “We have seen and continue to see that many things have changed with the Covid-19 Pandemic. The new understanding of health is at the forefront of those taking their share of the change. The reason is very simple, the epidemic reminded us once again how important a treasure our health is.” Mr. SOYBAŞ expressed that “Lifestyle has shown that health is one of the fastest growing, most talked about, researched and curious areas after the medical pandemic. Because this virus has reminded us once again that preventive health services are the most effective way and method for a healthy life. It has taught us that the best preventative remedies during the epidemic depend not only on health workers and health centers, but also on all individuals. While healthcare professionals continue to be key in the new healthcare approach, their biggest helpers and supporters have been technology.” In his speech, Mr. SOYBAŞ emphasized that "As AKGUN, we offer our latest technological new applications, which we produce with our experience and knowledge in the health sector, to the service of our healthcare professionals during epidemic period."
