AKGUN SOFTWARE Re-claims Its Position on the Top: We Have Successfully Accomplished Our CMMI Level 3 Appraisal For The 3rd Time!

AKGÜN Software, a leader in the health sector since 1986, proved that it is a corporate company, and renewed its internationally valid CMMI Level 3 certificate.

The quality of our firm has been once again certified by an independent organization this year. AKGUN holds the glory of obtaining a CMMI certificate for the first time in Healthcare Sector in Turkey. We obtained our first CMMI Level 3 certificate in 2013, and we passed our second appraisal in 2016 and now the third one in February 2019. CMMI Level 3 certificate represents the Maturity Level 3, which is known as the “Defined” level, and it is achieved when an organization successfully completes a rigorous SCAMPI A appraisal. AGUN’s success has been recognized and confirmed as we have been re-appraised on the Maturity Level 3 according to the CMMI Model.

AKGUN’s entire design and development disciplines including system, software, hardware, procurement and the integrated systems were involved in the CMMI appraisal, thus we have re-certified the national and international compliance of our firm. The appraisal, which was conducted by an independent appraiser with reference of the CMMI for Development Version 1.3 Process Improvement Model, were also sent to the CMMI Institute in the USA for approval and consequently, AKGUN’s “Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3” certificate has been renewed.

According to the assessors, AKGUN has a full compliance with the CMMI Model and with the CMMI Level 3 certificate, AKGUN shall be very successful for not only the national projects but also for the international projects. Furthermore, this certificate will continue to have a great impact for AKGUN’s sales targets here and abroad.
