AKGUN: The R&D Company of Trabzon Teknokent with the highest Export figures and employing the highest number of personnel.

In the “Bests of Trabzon TEKNOKENT” award ceremony, AKGUN, which employs 52 personnel in Trabzon Teknokent and 627 personnel in total, was awarded with “The R&D Company with the highest Export figures and employing the highest number of personnel” award. The Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Temel AKGÜN received the award on behalf of our company and he emphasized the importance of university-industry cooperation in his speech at the ceremony. Mr. AKGUN also said in his speech that “Congratulations to Teknokent Management. University industry cooperation is very important. If you invest in innovation, you can make a real difference. Now is the time for innovation. Industrialists can be successful by collaborating with scientific projects in universities. We achieve the success by doing this. We started to sell our artificial intelligence products to the world by doing many studies in cooperation with the universities.” Mr. AKGUN continued, “We want to invest more in our region and provide more employment” and he invited other industrialists to invest in this region.
