Digital Transformation Hurricane with AKGUN

We attended the 37th TBD Informatics Congress organized by the Turkish Informatics Association between 16 – 17 December 2020 as the Session Sponsor.
The event was held as a hybrid (physical and virtual participation) in the BTK Main Conference Hall with the participation of the Presidency, Affiliated Institutions, Ministries, Local Governments, University Academy, Private Sector, NGO Representatives, Scientists, IT Professionals and Experts. AKGUN Deputy General Manager Mrs. Züleyha AKGUN took place as a speaker in the “Digital Economy and Beyond” panel in the congress. Speaking about the digital economy and the effects of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IoT) on the business world, Mrs. AKGUN said that “for 34 years as AKGÜN we are supporting the digitization process and develop software products and solutions to represent our country and being Turkey’s technology base that can be carried out on behalf of its exports to other countries.
In addition, Mrs. Züleyha AKGUN said that “To successfully pass HIMSS digitalization audits we offer A to Z solutions that will enable all our customers both in city hospitals using our software”. Mrs. Züleyha, who told about the problems experienced throughout the world during the pandemic process, emphasized that in 2011 AKGUN saw this future and made investments in this direction. Underlining that telehealth and intensive care have become more sensitive during the pandemic period, Mrs. AKGUN stated that in our iVital product, which digitalizes all intensive care processes, we have instant patient monitoring and related decision support and warning systems. Our Deputy General Manager stated that our artificial intelligence products X-Eye Toraks ve X-Eye Mammo are the first in Turkey and we offer our products to relevant audiences nationally and internationally with our private and public cloud solutions and also provide solutions to the digitalization process with our mobile and corporate applications.
At the end of the program, AKGUN was given a plaque for his contribution to the event. Our Deputy General Manager Züleyha AKGUN received the plaque on behalf of AKGUN. In addition, we informed our visitors about our AKGUN Digital Hospital Solutions at our digital stand during the congress. At the fair, our artificial intelligence products X-Eye Toraks: Computer Aided Diagnosis System in Lung X-Ray Images, X-Eye Mammo: Breast Cancer Decision Support System and iVital Intensive Care System attracted great attention.

With the artificial intelligence systems developed by AKGUN, revolutionary steps have been taken in the health sector. Developing systems in artificial intelligence studies, especially in Early Diagnosis, AKGUN continues to develop solutions that will provide clinical decision support that require advanced technological applications.
